   Area of cover
 The countries in which you can elect to obtain treatment.
 
   Chronic Conditions
 Conditions for which there is no cure, only the symptoms can be controlled.
 
   Claim
 When an insured visits a doctor or hospital, the provider may submit a bill to the insurance company, we refer to this bill as a "claim" for benefits.
 
   Coinsurance
  A percentage of the total expenses incurred which is borne by the the insured person.
 
   Deductible
  The amount payable by the insured in respect of the expenses incurred before any benefits are paid under the policy.
 
   Evacuation
 Moving the insured from the place of incident to the nearest appropriate medical facility.
 
  Exclusions
 Specific conditions or circumstances for which the policy will not provide benefits.
 
  Pre-existing condition
  A condition for which the insured had symptoms of, received treatment, or sought advice prior to commencement date of the policy.
 
   Premium
 The amount the insured pays in exchange for insurance coverage.
 
   Provider
 Any person (Doctor, Nurse, Dentist) or institution (hospital or clinic) that provides medical care.
 
   Waiting period
 The period of time after the completion of which a benefit is made available.
